Return Policy

Hey there! We get that sometimes things don’t work out. Here’s the condition's on returns:

Non-Returnable Items:
Due to their perishable nature, we are unable to accept returns on food items, including but not limited to sauces, oils, and dry rubs. These items are considered final sale upon purchase.
 

30-Day Return Policy for Merchandise:
For non-perishable merchandise, we offer a 30-day return window from the date of receipt. To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

    •    Item Condition: The merchandise must be in its original, unused condition, with tags attached and in its original packaging.
    •    Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

Initiating a Return:
To begin the return process, please adhere to the following steps:

    1.    Contact us at info@hootsauce.co.nz to request a return.
    2.    Upon receiving return approval, we will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions on how to proceed. Please note, returns without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damaged or Incorrect Items:
We ask that you inspect your order upon arrival. If you encounter any items that are defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us immediately so that we may evaluate the situation and make it right.

Exchanges:
Direct exchanges are not offered. To exchange an item, please return the original item using our return process. Once your return is accepted, you are welcome to make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds:
Upon receipt and inspection of your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method. Please note that the time frame for the credit to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or credit card issuer.
